How To Create Teams

In this nugget, we will explain how you can create teams in the AlertFind User Interface         

Hello everybody welcome back to alert find nuggets, todayโ€™s nugget is How to build teams, add members and define Team leaders.

To add a team to your company you will need to go the menu on the left , under administration section, and click on teams.

Under my teams section, click on the add team to global button.

We need to give a name to the team you are creating, each teams name must be unique. For this nugget we are going to name it demo. 

Next on description you can type any description which helps you identify the recipients of the team, lets type demo again.

You can add users and existing  groups, to add them you can choose among the following tabs Users, Broadcast Groups, Smart Groups, or Escalation Groups, for this nugget we are going to add users.

Lets click over the users tab and from the display users list you can add them one by one or by selecting a group of users. We are going to select the first 6 users and then click the add button. 

When the members list is complete, click Next

To make a user a team leader, select the name and click the Add button to move it to the leaders column. For this example we are going to select the first user and add him as a team leader. 

Remember you cannot grant team leader permissions to groups.

To modify the permissions granted as default, you need to click on the plus sign next to the name to expand the list of permissions available. Here is where you can enable or disable the permissions you want the team leader to have. 

When the leaders list and leaders permission are configured, click next.

The team definition page will show you the summary of the team you have just created  you will see the name, description and members of the team. Also you will see the leader with the privileges you have enabled for each one of them. 

Click the save button to save your changes.

This is how you create a Team in AlertFind Console, to check the teams you have created, just go to the left menu, under administration and click teams, you will see the list of all teams already created under global.
