Hi Everyone and welcome back to the next edition of Af Nuggets.

In today's nugget i’m going to show you how to use AF app to trigger notifications using notifications templates on your smart device.

Now before I proceed I want to remind everybody that you have to register the app on your smart device first. AS you can see the app is installed in here when I tap it to goes right through the registration process and as you can see i haven't received recent notifications.

What i want you to see is the drop down menu from the left upper corner, i tap it and you can see the menu options. What I want to recall is that end users won’t be able to see the “Send notification” option. Just admins or team leaders with sent notifications permissions can see this option.

I’m gonna tap it…. It will load the templates I have available and I can browse through them right and left and select the one i need to use. So lets select this “demo notification” down in the bottom, when it loads it  already has subject, it already has the message content, and even has the default recipients , but i don’t want to send it to them, so i will edit and add a BC group and an individual.

Also i want to modify the text adding this…

Now I can dismiss the keyboard and review the notification once  you are ok with the notification just tap “Send Selected Notification”

That’s how easy it is to send a notification. I hope you have enjoyed this nugget today, if you have any suggestion for other nuggets, let us know. Have a great day.
